General Information

WSOA was organized to host the 1990 USA World Cup event and works today to promote orienteering in Washington State and throughout the Pacific Northwest. We assist member clubs to schedule events in coordination with the Orienteering Association of British Columbia (OABC). One of WSOA's most significant activities is sponsorship of the Washington Interscholastic Orienteering League (WIOL). (this responsibility has been taken over by COC) WSOA is a non-profit organization with US IRS 501(c)3 tax exempt status.

WSOA's mailing address is:

Washington State Orienteering Association

WSOA was the first regional association recognized by the United States Orienteering Federation (USOF).
